Silicone Delivery Conditions:

A) Platinum catalyst liquid silicone is one of the main raw materials for silicone baking pad, baby pacifier and others that are subject to pass FDA inspection.

B)  Solid tin-based catalyst silicone is the main consumable material by coating calender technology to produce industrial coated fabric & molded silicone products which use fiberglass fabric, industrial canvas, high temperature PE fabrics and aramid fabric as basic to form the finished products do not need to pass FDA certification.

Note: Platinum catalyst liquid silicone has higher temperature resistance than solid tin-based catalyst silicone.


2.Drum -typed Vulcanized Machine(Steel Belt Rotary Curing Machine)

  • Feature:Since the hollow calendering roller is like a drum, it is called drum-typed vulcanizing machine.It is the machine that required for the production of flat products in the rubber and plastic industry.

Adopting Japanese produced jointless steel belt,Our drum-typed vulcanizing machine is 1.5m width and gluing machine is width of 1.6m .In order to heated calender roller in the hollow drum-typed vulcanizing machine, it should use matched heat-conducting oil furnace.


However, heat-conducting oil furnace works slowing in heat transfer and has to be replaced periodically,our factory has changed to electric heating system for the hollow calendering roller , which is fast heat transferring and energy saving.


The pressure of round roller in vulcanized machine is 20Kpa.Heating temperature ranges from  150 ℃ to 180 ℃ and normally is 160 ℃.


The process of flatting and heating increases the silicone products’ surface finish so that the crystalline direction of the structure is more densely, increased its toughness and high tensile strength.


In all , Drum-typed vulcanizing machine is a professional and essential one to produce silicone baking mat. But some companies do not have this equipment. They use dip-coated technology for edge covering to produce silicone baking mats,which are inferior products in the market.


3. Mineral Colour Paste: platinum catalyst silicone is colourless and transparent. For the reason of both aesthetically pleasing and practical,the silicone baking mats need to be edge covering. Depends on central colors of white& brown , the colors for edge covering needs to be added different paste which required harmless, non-radioactive, no chemical residues, non discolouring and also pass FDA certified to withstand high temperature up to 250 ℃. After two decades of practice, our mineral color pastes are accepted for the many customers,such as rust red (iron oxide red), black (graphite), gray. In recent years, there are purple, yellow, blue, green, pink, brown etc. 

 

4. Solvent Oil:The oil is food grade 120# industrial gasoline which used to regulate the viscosity of the liquid platinum catalyst silicone. Due to poor safety and leads to silicone mat can not pass FDA certification, Our baking mat productionhas adopted a solvent-free oil and dip-coated platinum silicone technology.
